An experienced events and sustainability professional, I passionately believe design should be viewed as a central tool to solve social and ecological issues to make our world a better place for future generations and when combined with scientific and technological development we have the opportunity to bring effective sustainability to its rightful place at the forefront of major events.
I have worked on various projects in more than 10 countries around the world; this international experience has helped me to gain a strong understanding of different cultures, their traditions and ways of working. This knowledge enables me to approach any opportunity with the flexibility and sensitivity required to ensure that it is a success.
Working at Major Games and Events, such as the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and the Ashgabat 2017 Asian Games has developed my stress resilience and project management abilities. A social project together with a social start-up named Care in Morocco taught me the importance of being adaptable in different working environments while delivering projects for the less fortunate and deprived.
My business education along with my entrepreneurial experience, and analytical and marketing skills helped me to find unprecedented and unique solutions when delivering projects from scratch, among which is the International Sustainable Fashion Competition organised together with Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
With 20 years of experience in sustainable design, supported by 5 Master’s degrees ranging from Critical to Sustainable Design & Technologies. I learned to draw inspiration from different disciplines to incorporate them into my work. I am also a keen adopter of new technologies in my work having a strong ecological framework, I have made numerous public speaking appearances at scientific research conferences.
