Application Guidelines

1. Please read over the page “The perfect TEDxPhnomPenh speaker is…” This is the rubric that will guide the speaker selection committee members in their selection. Please remember to address all points in your application.
2. The application is the only thing that all members of the selection committee will have to make their decisions, so make yours impressive. The application questions are broad; we are looking for your unique perspective to show through in how you interpret and answer them.
3. We’re interested in your “idea worth sharing” but we’re also interested in your ability to share it in an engaging, logical way. To get through the first round of selections, make sure your application itself is engaging and logical.
4. We may decide to move onto a second round of speaker selection, in which case we will ask for additional input from you, likely in the form of an in-person or Skype meeting. The criteria for the second round of speaker selections will be similar to the first round, and you will be updated if and when we move on.
5. Have fun with this application. Be creative. Make us cry tears of joy and sorrow. Inspire us. We look forward to reading your application and seeing you at the event!
