BarCamp Phnom Penh
14 Sep
Barcamp,
an international network of user-generated conferences (or unconferences) – open, participatory workshop-events, whose content is provided by participants.
is hitting Phnom Penh on the 25th and 26th of September. This will be the city’s 3rd so far, following on from an amazingly successful event last year that attracted over 1000 participants, and is gaining a reputation for being one of the region’s biggest and best grassroots tech and innovation events.
The core of a barcamp is a dynamic schedule of events created over the course of the (un)conference by attendees that have things they’d like to present on. The open format and informal vibe encourages a high degree of attendee participation, and it’s well worth going along just to see what a hive of creativity and idea-sharing these things can become.
There’s a guide for international visitors from Tomorrow.sg’s Preetam Rai here, and more info on the event from the official site.
See you there.
