Another great TEDxPhnomPenh event has come and gone. We spanned two locations this time – Northbridge International School and Zaman University – and were joined by over 20 speakers, presenters, and workshop leaders. Their topics ranged from coffee to empowerment, and their stories were those of resilience, empowerment and creativity. You can learn more about them here.

The TEDxPhnomPenh movement is just beginning. While we envision and create the next event, stay up to date with us on facebook and twitter, and enjoy the TEDTalks we’ve produced thus far.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxPhnomPenh, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxPhnomPenh event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
